My notice is NOT showing - I put it up just a couple days ago and it was fine - disappeared.....maybe behind a showdrift.
    Ta-Ta for now!

If I'd known having formatting would mean slashing the text in half, I'd have fought against the idea! Content matters more to me. Let's hope they have a fiddle about and are able to give us both.

Whilst we are talking " my notices box"

At one stage it did try to get a ebid joining hyper link into the text which didnt work. i think it would be great if it was possible.

buyers from google shopping need a quick link available before they reconsider there purchase or check elsewhere.

twice this month i have had buyers wanting to buyer but are having trouble registering. it all needs to be a seemless process.

the reason i mention it as when a new shopper arrives on one on my items i would love a quick hyperlink in the "my notices" box rather than cluttering up every item with a link.

    just an idea

I don't see why putting it on every page on a notice is good, but putting it on every page further down in the description box is bad? How is one convenient and the other "cluttering up"? You're talking about exactly the same piece of text doing the same job, on the same page. It's just up the top or half way down, surely?

agreed it may seem strange. i do try to keep the description section very crisp and clear as i know i dont have very long (maybe 3 seconds) to convince them buy and not go elsewhere. In your experiance Kimbo where do you find the best place is to put the joining hyperlink? i have it on my large/expsensive items and also on my "about me page". Should i try sometrying different?

Oh, I'm not claiming expertise on this one! I think as long as you have an obvious link on the page to encourage new joiners that's all you need to worry about. But even new ebidders seem to join via the built-in functionality when they try to buy, rather than use offered buddy links, in my experience. But, of course, one can only guess what's going on by the traces left - I've never tried quizzing customers so I don't have any statistics. Sorry, that's probably not much help!
