Oh hell. Seriously, I would much rather have a useful text space than poncey colours. Had you told us in advance that was the choice I would definitely have campaigned for keeping things as they were. Gutted. I'm a bit gob-smacked you made such a slashing change without at least warning, let alone consulting on it. Rats, rats, rats.

Why is it honest, decent sellers always get shafted to try to protect against twerps and chancers? Aaaarrrggghhh!!!!

Now hang on a mo - I may be a twerp but I'm not sure about being a chancer! Also, you certainly didn't have to be either a twerp or a chancer to fail to see the old notices - which could be (and often were) saying something important.

I am an honest and decent seller (although prone to the odd "error of judgement" as you have kindly pointed out) and don't feel "shafted" as you put it - I feel we have been given something we have asked for - improved visibility for notices/remarques - whatever you choose to call them.

Gazza has found it necessary to add a restriction to stop the notices system from being abused. I can't for a single second see any reason why you would think anything about my response in the slightest part referred to you, or any other decent seller like you. I've noticed of late you appear to take offence to quite a lot of what I say, and markedly ignore anything nice. I'm not sure when I hacked you off or how, but whatever it was I apologise. I doubt it was any more aimed at you than this is.

Its not the poncey (i love that word) colours that will cause the problem but the option of using extra large text. Keep the colours and do away with the text resizing. Having colour, highlighting and bold text is enough to make the notice noticed

That would be fine by me. Poncey colours plus plenty o' text, but keep it standard size - yep, works for me.

I shall drink a cup of poncey tea while admiring your poncey colours.

I still seem to be able to post bids on my listings that are on holiday settings.

No problem, I will close them and relist when my holiday ends

Is it possible to bid on your own auctions

I looked at the first item in your auctions list and there is no notice on it at all.
