Thread: Bulk Upload Spreadsheet missing ##end##

  1. #1

Default Bulk Upload Spreadsheet missing ##end##

I downloaded the new Bulk Upload Spreadsheet and ever since have been trying to upload some listings, but every time EBID reported the first listing missing.

After going over the sheet very carefully I noticed that ##end## was missing from the heading in column Y. I entered this and as if by magic it worked.

I can't find anybody else on this forum who has had a similar problem, so it could be just me, but posted my findings anyway.

    Paul.

Just downloaded the latest and looked at the contents without making any changes. The two sample records have the end marker there on my copy. You understand that it needs to be there on every line? So if you add content rather than copy/edit the samples you have to put it in yourself?

    Hi Kim,
Yes I understand that ##end## needs to at the end of each listing line. What seems to have caused my problem was that ##end## was not in the heading of column Y.

    Paul.
Ah... I would remove the headings before uploading anyway, so I was never going to spot that. Cheers.
