Thanks, Tony, not exactly what I wanted to hear, but better to know the truth than not.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

If anyone has to ring them its a voice activated system, just keep saying agent and you will get put through to a human.
If I can get the phone number, I can get a live human being on any automated system. So far, It's worked every time I've tried it.

I just keep talking to the robot in pure gibberish. I don't even wait for it to stop "talking", I talk at the same time. Eventually the computer program decides I'm either a person who has trouble with the English language, or someone who's really, really angry. The call gets transferred to live Customer Support.

Thats exactly what I do too, although on one occasion I swore at the automated voice, and it slammed the phone down on me.

LOL! Likely what I'd do, especially if po'd or into the Irish coffee.

Thanks for the info., since they don't seem to be in a hurry to answer my e mails maybe I'll give the call route a try. It couldn't hurt.

Best wishes for many good sales to all,

I guess people have good experiences of pay pal and bad. My experience and that of a number of friends of mine was all bad fine until something goes wrong then it was a complete nightmare. I choose not to use them if I can help it and prefer to use googlecheckout. I find it very easy to use as do my buyers. But its all down to personal preference there is no good or bad in eveyones eyes, what is someone famous said you cant please all of the people all of the time but you can please some of the people some of the time (hope I have that right)

    Happy Selling to you all

A very sound and reasoned opinion. I'm still not crazy about Paypal, although since they closed the dispute and unfroze the related transaction funds, I guess I'll stick with them for the time being, at least til eBid starts an online payment service.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

PPPay is owned by one of the owners of eBid.

You should search the forums for what people think of it
