I think as a seller its what buyers are happy with, although im not a fan of Paypal its what most buyers are happy to pay me through.

Think it through before ditching Paypal.

And that's nothing to sneeze at.

I'm still in a gathering info. phase right now, not ditching anything unless I have to, but I want to be prepared, just in case.

Thanks to all for the good info. and advice and best wishes for many sales,

Angry Google checkout is good, but BUYERS are addicted to paypal.

My PayPal account got frozen due to rival sellers filing SNAD disputes on me to get me kicked off ebay and I have not opened another account. I have been here ever since. It is SLOW, with PayPal it is much better income, but the nerves will inevitably kill you, as in your pay isn't "YOURS" for up to 180 days. It is a matter of when and not IF your PP account will be frozen, but without it, there is not many buyers at any price. They are addicted to it like a drug. I'd say keep playing till you loose, but offer as many other payment processors as possible, so when your PP goes down, you will have a customer base and good rep.

Wow, I'm really sorry to hear that (your experience with Paypal), but can't say I'm surprised; Feepay played the same way with me (closing my account after it was hacked without giving me a chance to explain) and Paypal is owned by Feepay.

Have decided to offer other online payment options in the near future; right now Google checkout is looking good, and the fact that they're integrated with eBid will make it fairly painless to transition.

Best wishes for many good sales to all,

I like paypal - have never had any problems, but have had it for umpteen years, so they know me by now. I think I will add Google as additional payment method this year, as well as checks, bubblegum, offers to wash my windows, and, of course, dark American chocolate.

Dzambo - you crack me up!! Wall Street casinos.......love the term and concept! You have got things figured out!
    Ta-Ta for now!

Had paypal for many years now - around 80,000 transactions through it at a rough guess - never had a problem.
Makes me wonder when I see people that had problems with them - it is NEVER their fault - ALWAYS paypals or someone elses.
