Can't get my store up & going

Alrighty, I'm done setting up my store, or so I thought. I've managed a banner using Paint, it's now 308 x 90, and uploaded. I filled in Title, Description, all the Colors, hit update button for the Sec 2, then 2 Categories & Subcats. I've also set the status to 'online'. However this didn't do the trick, and the Status still displays as Offline. I tried to list a new item, but this didn't help to make my store live. What am I missing here?

After setting the store to Online did you click the Update Section 2 button again?

Oops, missed this step altogether. Thanx, you're a lifesaver.

Now off to filling it up... one item at a time. Luckily, it's only about ten of them at this time.
