    Hello

At the top of the page click my ebid then at the bottum of the page you will see Auctions i'm running click that.
The it will take you to the auction im running at the top the first gray strip you will see the work bids below that you will see 0 or 1 or more if theres bids on a item or items just go down the list. I hope this helps some.

You will see Auctions I'm Running on the Left side of the page....not the bottom. (at least on mine that's how it is)

If an auction has a bid, the tick on the right side of the list of listings will be green.........if not, it's red.
    Ta-Ta for now!

I should clarify, when I am looking at the listings in a catagory how can I tell if there any bids, under price the 'bids' are all green.

You do not have bids on you auctions. you can also open the item view and on the right side it show whether or not you have bids. If you put a BIN on your auctions, Google will pick them up.

Welcome to eBid may you prosper here

I am not talking about my auctions. I am talking about all the other auctions.
When I do a search I can see the word BID and an amount in green but I cannot tell if anyone has actually made a bid. How can I tell if there is a bid without leaving the search page?

If i understand you correctly you cant in the search.
You have to click the item and you can see if theres a bid that way,

We have been asking for ebid to show the number of bids (and watchers) but so far they have decided not to.

I have just joined Ebid and I definetly get the impression that in trying to be different from Ebay, they are 'shooting themselves in the foot'. I am looking for an alternative to Ebay but I had to search for Ebid. Everybody Knows about Ebay and a few know about Ebid. If Ebid makes money then they should promote themselves as the Ebay Alternative. That is what people want. Don't try to be different, make it easy.

    @Coulect
Ebid is a VERY small privately owned company.
Every business has to decided where to put their money.
In ebids case servers ? programmers, advertising ?

Most sellers in the know know about the major alts.
And a site can offer benefits to sellers
Its a massive job to get the buyers to know.
But a site can't offer any benefits to buyers

Its a chicken an egg situation.
We may have to rely on our word of mouth and enthusiasm and ebay shooting themselves in their foot a few more times (they will as they are a big fat greedy corporation that wants every dollar they can get to pay their fat cat executives 40 million last year)
