    Default Combined invoice

The following is an email I have received from a new buyer. It is self-explanatory.

New buyers DO have trouble with this site and, while I am not seeking for parity with eBay, it certainly needs some tweaking in places.

Before this thread gets deleted, could someone please tell me how to respond to this frustrated buyer.

    Thanks.

"I can’t find my way around ebid easily – as in how to purchase more that one item, but wait for an invoice.

I’m used to ebay where it seems so clearly explain. One screen follows the next.

Sorry to cause trouble for you."

Think the trouble is when someone goes on a new site they get information overload and its easy to miss something, speaking from my own experiances.

If you have the extra money, I suppose you could try buying 2 items from a Seller, write down the process you go through, and then be able to give this and future Buyers the step-by-step details this way?

But maybe someone has already done this and can share their notes with us?

I remember being confused when I bought multiples, but I don't remember the process.

When finished buying items from the same seller.

Click on the My eBid Tab. This will display a page headed "My eBid Summary"

    Click on the Won Tab.

Locate an item from the seller you wish to receive the invoice from.

In the Status/Options column (far right) use the Drop Down Menu to Request An Invoice.

I usually add a comment "Please send me a combined invoice", or words to that affect

Thats all I have done in the past also.

It is a fairly simple process - so cant see how some can find it difficult.

I have to do that on multiple purchases several times a day unfortunately.
Yet it says on all my listings everywhere than I combine postage on all items.

    Infuriating, isn't it?

When I see someone with bids on two of my items on the other side, I email to inform them that I shall defer sending the invoice until both auctions have closed. Makes life easier - and earns me a few brownie points.

It has got so bad, that I have a message ready so I just have to copy and paste it everytime I do refunds.
On average at this time of the year - up to around 5 times a day.
    During busy periods - November/December - up to 25 - 30 times per day!

All my items are buy it now - so at least no waiting till they finish!
