I wish you well Sarah, not an easy task at all, the cravings are the worst of giving up, if you can stick to your guns, get busy when they kick in, you have a great chance of doing it.

It is true though, once a smoker always a smoker, at least in mind not body.

A friend of mine gave up smoking about 4 years ago, but still has the cravings every day and chews on gum when close to smokers.

The best thing about giving up, you can smell much better, infact you can smell fag smoke on smokers and become a smoke hater lol

this is very true Dean , when you stop ... you can smell fags a mile away .... i did work in a local bar for a while , and even then , when we opened in the morning the place was reekin of stale baccy , but then I did not have the sense to stop....but good luck to all who are trying......papa.

Just started to see the Broccoli shoots come through, now it's 3 weeks in and feeling much better.

Taste has improved so much and when I have a fag moment enter my brain, I simply take a massive deep breath in and say, "Fresh air is better"
