Thread: Bigamy in Britain.......

  1. #1

    Default Bigamy in Britain.......

Whilst Benefits are a hot topic at the moment....
Of all the hare brained, politically correct actions of our various governments, this takes the biscuit!
I am still trying to get my head round this one.!!!

    Thanks for that Papa..

Thank you Pink For finding another link.

There are many countries where polygamy is allowed. In each of these countries it is accepted that a man may only have another wife if he can support her and her subsequent children.. Many wives are a social and finacial status in these countries and local social systems are in place to ensure the welfare of the family group, either by law or local customs.

In our culture Bigamy is illegal.
I cannot understand how the benefit system can support a known illegal claim.
Presumably now all religious and cultural claims for many wives will be acceptable as long as the loopholes are followed to the letter!

Maybe if I divorce my husband I will get all the benefits I cannot claim now, Then I could take on another few richer fellas as well and live in financial harmony for the rest of my life. Especially if I train 'em up right!

Yes the last LABOUR government was nuts bringing this idea out in 2008.

Oh! Didn't you notice the dates of the articles :- 03 Feb 2008 and Monday February 4,2008
My posts only state my own opinions, unless I've stolen them from someone else

Only the Telegraph piece is old. The Express piece is up-to-date.

The express link is working now.
Once again another show of kowtowing spineless creeping from the government. The so called human rights should ban that for starters, what about equality and the rights of a woman. Our country has digressed centuries by allowing this, aswell as the appalling inequality once again of our own people in the British Isles.
Equal rights, its an absolute load of balloney.
People who need it most are getting hammered the nost by the cuts and these parasites aswell as the others who already have bled and continue to bleed our country dry just get the carte blanc to carry on, urgh!

Ye youre right there Spyder! A good friend of mine was making very good money out there singing and playing but came back to this country foolishly. Its pitiful what live musicians get paid nowadays, the pub bands and singers have been hit very hard by various thing including the onset of the epidemic krapeeokee disease, shutting of pubs, tvs in pubs etc. It was better paid 15 years ago!
Its a well known fact you get paid more abroad for it now, and as for calling it England, yes certain cultures/races do say its against their rights.
Our country is just one sick joke now, thats it.
