Exclamation A tip about eBid stores many miss

I see this so much, especially when updating my store directory (yes, I really am!!) - people fill in the description box and just keep typing away, not realising there is a limit. The box doesn't warn you, it just hacks the end off. So do check your description after you've entered it and make sure it's all there! I can't recall the character limit, but it's not that big.

Wouldn't that be better as a bug report? A text input box should be able to be restricted to a certain number of characters.

Having a conflict between what is allowed and what can be input is just poor programming.

I've never had a problem with that, but I DO wish they would add to the title allowance.

Could be. My priority was to let people know about the restriction. I can post to glitches too, no problem.

Best wishes for many sales to all,
I tend to think many shop names are already far too long (probably including my own!) It does make for a silly URL, and becomes unwieldy for passing on to others in word or print.

Oops, guess I read the post wrong again as usual. I was thinking of longer auction titles, silly me.

    Definitely need more coffeeing up...

Best wishes for many sales to all,
