Not again

Some of you may know I like to play the National Lottery Daily Play and I just don't believe it:

Thursday 31st March 2011 - Played £1 won £5
Tuesday 29th March 2011 - Not Played would have won £300

This is the 2nd time it's happened to me, the 1st time was in 2005 missed playing my numbers and would have won £300 then as well. Just wish I had played my numbers 2 days earlier.

I play online so I don't have to rely on getting to the shops to put my numbers on. In saying that, I have managed to FORGET (cos I've forgotten which day I'm on!) to put my numbers on. I've been lucky three times now cos the numbers haven't come up. But there could be a time when I forget and could miss the BIG one. I've started to put a reminder on my computer calendar to nudge my brain!

and I allways do the lucky dips,
that way if I forget to do it,
I'll never know if I would have won or lost.
And allways have a good nights sleep,
or in your case it would be a good days sleep.

Just £1 only used to play when I felt like it. Am doing my numbers online today, so far the £30,000 top prize hasn't been won on my chosen numbers, but when the daily play 1st came out I was playing every week and was winning £5 or £30 or free go.

Mugs game Craig,put all the money in a savings account or what ever and at the end of the year see how much you have saved by not doing the lotto or what ever it is you do.

Out of my weekly wage I put so much into my savings account, pay the bills and get groceries in. the rest now goes on Daily Play at £6 per week (just started this week to do weekly) as I'm hoping for £30,000 from the National Lottery. Could be soon I hope.

Wish I'd stuck to the LD's Ron - I was just saying so to my husband the other day. When the Lottery started at first, we chose random numbers, then we started using birth dates and memorable numbers. Sheesh! Not much point in looking back though, is there? I have to admit to being pretty lucky with the Lottery in the sense that I've had a good few tenners here and there. The Thunderball has been good to us also. But I have one line on the main draw which I will guarantee has had about two wins - if I'm lucky. And that's practically since the Lottery started! I keep saying that's where my big win is coming from! Here's hoping!

I play and have played a certain set of numbers twice a week, I just know that if I fail to place the numbers a big win will come in. I now play online, this way I can setup my games for weeks at a time and just wait
