Random things people have said to you?

I was at Stonehenge and a woman turned to me and asked, "How did they put the stones up, then?"

As if I know! No-one knows!

When we were a 4 piece blues band a woman asked if we could play any Glen Miller.
Playing at a bikers convention we were asked "canyou play any country and western".My reply was not if you want to get out of here alive.

Years ago when I was in retail carpet sales I quoted a customer a price and stated "plus tax". The woman looked at me and said "we have to pay for the staples seperately?"

I was walking in the town center yesterday when I spied a paste table all decked out in cat's protection paraphanalia.

Anyway there were lots of 'cute' pics of cats looking for good homes -- I just could not resist the temptation.




I went over to the young lass and said.












The chinese takeaway down the road will take the lot!
