Will this new affiliate program on Commission Junction be usable by all?

The old ClixGalore one was inaccessible to me as I do not own the root domain of my site - it being hosted by my ISP.

It would be nice if this barrier was no longer there.

Commission Junction is an affiliate broker...one of the handful that I use.

CJ offers a way for me (and other affiliates) to earn commission on sales that visitors to my sites make when they visit the sites I promote through the banners I pick up from CJ.

So...on-line businesses sign up to the broker and people who promote (publishers) also sign up.

The publishers then go to the CJ site and sign up with any on-line businesses listed that they would like to promote.

So...say I sign log in today to CJ and see eBid on their list...I can sign up to be able to use their banners to display on my site. Then when my visitors got to eBid via my banner I will get whatever the current offer is from eBid.

Generally offers from the programmes is a percentage commission or a flat rate for a sign up etc etc.

Depending on the programme I join I might add banners or text links to a website, blog or email signature.

Some companies insist that only websites promote them but others will accept email and blogging promotions.

I don't currently have any websites so I generally add banners to my blogs. The code for the banners include something to tell the affiliates who has sent them visitors...payments are paid to the broker and then the broker pays me.

Some affiliate programmes are run independently of brokers as some of mine are.

Sorry...I probably made it look more complicated than it actually is.

When I had sites...I had banners for several companies on each page and made sure there were links to my eBid stores scattered about too.
