Confusing....a plural title implies more than one but main picture shows only one....
Top of page shows only 1 item but 3 available
Your pictures (2 pics) - one is of one, one is of four
Write up - definitely says 3

Clarification needed I think, just my opinion which I hope helps.

I bought this item because the auction title description clearly says in plain English "THREE Antique Coat/Hat Hooks". I have just received my package today but it only contained ONE hook.

which to me means, you have to specify how many you want

I just looked again and read all the write up which I hadn't done first time around. At the top of the listing it clearly shows 1 item (near the price) and that there are 3 available. Also in the write up it says: This is a Dutch auction, please check auction quantity for number still available.
Maybe contact the Seller if you feel unhappy - no doubt you will be able to return the item.

I thought that buying one meant getting 3 hooks as the description says. If I buy two, i would receive 6 hooks and so on. Why state three hooks if there are four avaliable?

I would have expected to receive three hooks.

Just a suggestion if you were only going to be sending one hook at a time, take the "three" out of the main description.

I also had a look at the auction. Definitely would have expected 3 hooks.
