Canada Post is supposed to go on STRIKE Thursday June 2 at midnight.
If the strike goes through I will be closing all my auctions until the strike is over.

Just use the holiday setting - at least that will be less work for you. do they say how long it is to last?
Agree with meebo, use holiday setting, that way you won't have to relist anything, just take the holiday setting off when the strike is over.
Hope things are resolved soon. For the life of me, I don't understand why government workers go on strike, IMHO most of them are overpaid for the work they do, (I should know, I used to be one myself).
Best wishes for many sales to all,
No way of telling how long it will last.
2 days or two months.
26$ / hour. and that is start rate for new employees, that's not including all their benefits and excellent pension plans.
I tried to get a job there, but no luck. even part time is more than most people make at full time jobs.
SIGH!!!!!!!!!!!
Update on strike, so far only one city is affected fully. They are doing rotating strikes with work to rule every where else.
Hi Skysteed, Are you going to place your auctions on holiday notice, or just place a notification about the stike on your items?

Since they are rotating only one city at a time and one day at a time I'm leaving my auctions as they are. ONLY if they go into full strike mode will I do anything. So as far as I'm concerned auctions are all still up / running and active.
