To me communication is just basic courtesy and I agree with all the posters here who suggest its something that we need to ensure is kept at a high standard to ensure ebid's credibility.
Treat others as you would treat yourself and you wont go far wrong.
You are so right it is a basic courtesy, if I ask a question I expect an answer and by the same token I check my ebid site at least once a day and reply accordingly.

I must admit i've been lucky. Only 1 seller didn't reply though he did act on my question. I always answer buyers questions within 24 hours as thats how i would like to be treated.

I always send a follow up to my initial question if there has been no reply to the first one. I have had several emails that I have sent and emails that various people have sent to me, not reaching the intended recipient. This seems to be happening more frequently lately. These are emails to people that I have emailed many times before with out problem. So I give the person a pass on the first email, but if there is no response to the second one. No third chances! The web is growing so fast and so large that there are bound to be some problems every now and then.
I have not ask many questions but on 31752587 below shows my offer and their response. In checking during that time I saw they had logged in.
But by the time they answered I had already purchased elsewhere.

I waited a few days for a reply (which didn't come), and ended up buying the books from a non eBid site.
Surprisingly, this eBid seller had an extremely high feedback score, but I get the impression that it was earned from elesewhere.
I'm not going to beat a dad horse, but how can you expect to be a reputable seller if you don't service your potential as well as reacurring customers?. my goal is to do all I can to help Ebid compete effectivly with greedbay and sway their customers as well as their sellers over here. Shame on that seller.
