Hi Loopy & Good Morning, I have now requested invoice again, sent a private email, and asked a question via the After Auction Log saying "Hi, are you there?" I see from my Sellers Store they have not checked in since last Sunday.
I am writing this to you to give you ideas for what you might do also.
I personally have lost interest in the item I bid on & won so I shall soon write to Support & get it sorted out.
I am really sorry if this is your 1st experience with eBid - as you can see I have been here over 6 months & this is 1st time this has happened to me.

Yes, this is a sad first experience for Loopymoo.
I know this sounds all very well in 'hindsight' but ...... (for what it's worth):

I try (and I'm no expert), to enter into a little bit of back & forward messaging via email prior to selling or buying. (unless of course I'm buying again from a previous seller I've already dealt with).
I do this to give and receive a degree of 'trust' prior to any money changing hands.
I think it's good business on behalf of a seller to supply an email address to their prospective buyer - this adds credibility, and gives another means of contact for the buyer, (who I think should also supply their email address in return).
With some initial polite messaging relating to the item(s) being sold I think it's posible to build a relationship prior to the item being posted.
I do feel this communication is important so that both parties involved are not total strangers before shipping.

I feel a seller should go out of their way to keep the buyer informed of progress.
ie: I inform a buyer when the item's shipped.
A day or two later I follow up with an approximate arrival time email.
A day or two later I again email them saying they can 'expect' their parcel on or soon after xx/yy/zz (a particular date).
I do this to keep them from 'worrying', to show that I care, and to build their anticipation for receiving their item.

I can't seem to see when the seller was last online, there were 5 items purchased by different people, would it be worthwhile me contacting them to see if they have heard anything?

Has your Seller got a Store ? If so you can find out when they last checked in from there.

It would seem that my seller is only registered as a buyer, but he had two auctions on the go, the one I bought from now is finished but still another one - can anyone shed any light on this?

I'm not making excuses for the seller but recently my computer crashed, I had put a notice on my stores that I was having problems but didn't put them on vacation as I didn't know it was that sever. When I got back online 5 days later I had a 4 day old sale. It all worked out but I could have been the subject of one of these threads. So things do happen that we can't anticipate.
