Wondering if Amazon payments is any good

I use Amazon payments (on Amazon not on eBid - yet). It is a bit of a lengthy process. Amazon pay the money into your designated bank account every 14 days, and it takes about 7ish days to clear. Having said that you can request a payment whenever you want and get the money 7ish days later. You can only make one request per day. Using this payment method is rather expensive when compared to say, PayPal. Amazon charge about 18% of the total sale value (excluding postage on the Amazon site). I can only assume if you use Amazon payments on here their charges will include the postage costs. I have been selling on Amazon for years and never had a single problem with there payment system.
