Used to have a Nochex account, but lost it last year and no refund of balance as account unused for so long

I had nothing but problems with nochex when i used them.

May have been ok for others, but I couldnt recommend them.

I think it just means you have to at least sign into your Nochex account once a month or once every few month and keep your card up to date or they close it.

But as a payment method I prefer it to paypal, especially the way buyers can pay with their cards without having to sign up for an account.

Not sure I need a merchant account though, as nothing I sell is over two hundred quid and I don't sell enough to get a proper postal service, so I can ship overseas.

Worth it if you do though.

Yup Annie - I got that and did the sign up - you need to print the emailed Ts&Cs, sign them and send back with a utility bill or similar showing your name & address. They;ll help integrate the merchant function to your website if you have one (or as many as you have if you have more than one).

Re: your lapsed account - just email them apologising for low transaction volume and they'll reactivate and credit back the balance - I had to do that a few years back and there was no hassle about it.
