I have had websites for about 5 years now. The only times I have had any problems with hosts re:building sites is when I have to use the cpanel thingy.

It's all those.upload your file to the backend thingummy bob as a whatsitface type of file, instructions...they might as well be in a foreign language.

It's not like I haven't built websites so I think I must have a blind spot for some ways of doing things

Sunny - I think it's just basically laziness with me. If I sat and studied things for long enough, I'd be able to do it - no question! I'm just a lazy wee toerag and it's about high time I pulled my socks UP! lol!!!

EDIT: Hi JF RETAIL: Sorry - just noticed your post cos I always go to the last post of a thread then work my way back (silly, I know)! Anyway - I just might take you up on your offer sometime. Thanks!

It is 100% FREE, you can use your own domain name or use one of theirs, there are no adverts on the webpage either.

I think it is ideal for some one who is just starting out and you can have online stores as well.

Just thought I would share it.
It says unlimted bandwidth on the heading.
That cannot be true, and in any case, I would not put my precious files on the servers of someone who cannot spell.

You can also use Google free hosting. For example you can build a free Google website and have it hosted free. If you own a domain you can add a www url address for the Google website. Then go to where you have your domain name registered. Point forward it to the www address. Change your www DNS file to ghs.google.com at your domain registry. Free web site and free hosting is the result. All hosted by Google. You can easily add Google analytic and Ad sense to the website also. Make sure to add a privacy policy if you use ad sense. They require it.

I did this to a new domain registration last week for an example.
