I was wondering if we can get a live chat app so buyers can ask questions live instead of waiting ? What do you think ?

How do you imagine it would work? What would be involved?
Well...if I need help I have ‘’Jan’’ is just like ‘’live chat’’…she knows everything…....
I think the Ranch has that feature.
They seem to be selling a lot on there and they are get more new members than us.
But ebid has more listings.
But I think there are other features that have a higher priorty
Eg
Make an Offer
API
Show the bids
Fine tune registration
Its 3am the phone rings , have you got a size Extr Large,

hi there , I would think there would be a lot of people who would be very annoyed if they got a phone call at that time of the morning...sorry but it does not sound good to me.....others might well agree with you tho............papa.
I just want to say.... gimme a break, a dumb idea, short and sweet.
You Haven't got a prayer of that happening on here they want even allow you to put your phone number on listings so potential buyers could ring you to ask any questions, they are obviously scared if you can talk direct to customers you might then sell your item direct to them and ebid would loose there 2% comms, its a bit silly this is the only site that doesn't allow you to put your tele number on your listings, i sell some high priced items on other sites and often get calls about the items, some buyers like to speak with you before parting with a lot of money for there own peace of mind which i fully understand as i am the same,
Definitely not a good idea. I think the seller would usually need to do some checking before answering. So the potential buyer would be annoyed by not getting an immediate answer, and the seller would be annoyed by having to drop everything to do the research immediately. Nobody wins.
And no worry about losing a sale. Our experience has been that people who ask about an item never buy it.
