You probably don't know just how parallel that is to a real-life situation.

A grandfather was walking his grandson round an auction when he spotted an old desk, cast iron frame, solid oak, heavy and completely different to anything found in recent years. He took the grandson over and started explaining how things used to be. As he started to explain, the grandson pointed to the hole along the top at the back of the desk and asked, "Is that where the computer cables went?"
