Thread: Items listed for Charity accepting payment

  1. #1

Default Items listed for Charity accepting payment

Generally I offer a large number of payment options for my listings but I'm going to be listing a number of charity listings very soon, & I'd rather the money was paid directly to my Just Giving Page, or via JustTextGiving if they wish.

I'm not sure whether to remove all payment options from the listings, & just use the see description one, or to still show paypal, with plenty of mentions about using the gift option, & hoping people actually read the listing.

    Any input appreciated

I ask people to pay by JustGiving on my YDC auctions and whilst most are willing to do this, some do not like doing so.

Maybe you could remove the Paypal/Google logos but state in the auctions that you will accept payments by these methods if the buyer does not want to use JustGiving. You could then just send them invoices from the payment websites

Thanks, I was wondering if there might be a reluctance to pay Just Giving directly,
    seems a shame.

I think you're right though removing the integrated payment buttons, so that the buyer must wait for the invoice, & payment details will increase the odds of more going to the charity.
