Why do I get the impression people are afraid to buy here?

My items seem to get lots of views. I price them lower than anywhere else on the net that I can find, and I even offer the most dreaded "Pal" as a payment option. An item with 59 views in a week ought to get a taker it seems. Any clues or advice?

Good question. IMHO a lot of it boils down to a bad global economy; in better days I bought quite a bit of jewelry myself, as well as books, now hardly any as I'm struggling financially. Likely this is the case with a lot of other would be buyers, (obviously they like your items or they wouldn't be looking as much as they have); hopefully things will pick up soon economy wise and business will make a come back, too.

Just my 2 cents...

Thanks, Sue's Jools...I am not afraid to buy from you!!!!!LOL...love all my purchases to be sure. I sell elsewhere, get less views, more sales, so I was just looking for advice. Many thanks for your reply.

I don't understand it my self. It seem like I cannot find ones to look at my items. how do you get ones to look at your item?

I think i get views due to the fact I list at auction as well as have a fixed price BUY IT NOW option. Listing on eBid puts the items on Google within the hour for the most part. i am basically an eBid newbie...but items with a BIN fixed price get indexed right away. There must be more to it, I scan eBid for items to BUY all the time. Don't really know, that is why i am asking. i have never been hesitant to purchase things here that fit my budget. I am not afraid, others must be I am thinking.

eBid.net badly needs Bidding Wars.. and that word needs spreading when it starts.
It will begin when eBid.net implements a Bid Column, to appear to all lookers when scrolling Categories.
Will they-eBid.net wake up? and get 'r going.

I think also that the economy has a lot to do with it, however I don't always find it easy to find what I'm looking for here so others may have same difficulty ? I often buy from those I've bought from in past and have been pleased with etc. Though always looking to give others some sales. I think its important for all of us not only to list but to buy too!

Yes I get lots of views and not too many sales

Are the views from buyers with no money
Or are they from people checking your listings >
Or are they from various bots and spiders ?

I wish we knew the answer.

But if you have an attitude about Paypal, that may indicate a problem.
Paypal is used by 90 million people and 1,000 people don't like it.
