    Seen easy jet on telly!

Make sure you arrive early! Make sure you have all the paperwork! Don't turn up smelly or drunk.
Make sure your luggage is the right weight, don't pack sharp objects, or other nasties.

do all that and you have a fighting chance of getting on the plane if it's not delayed, cancelled, blown up or shot down.

    As above.

Seems OK as long as everything goes right, but the slightest problem and what was a cheap flight can get very expensive.

    *Gulp*

Having used Ryan Air in the past, sounds pretty much the same sort of scenario.

No Annie, Ryanair are a nightmare to fly with.
They rip you off in all directions.
They have the lowest baggage allowance in Europe (15kg) and the highest excess luggage fee

    See http://gospain.about.com/od/ryanair/tp/ryanair_fees.htm

We have flown with Easyjet many, many times and not had any major problems, just so long as you are guided by the rules as laid down by most airlines.

I flew with easyjet too, no problems, more basic than some other companies (as in no frills) but I didnt mind as it got me where I wanted at a cheaper cost. Havent flown at all now for almost 10 years, and its changed quite drastically since then from what I gather. It puts me off quite a bit the thought of it now

Just dont turn up at the airport and try to show them your library card for identification like a mate of mine did.

I use to commute every month with easyjet and found them to be good, reliable, basic. Be organised yourself and have everything ship-shape and you'll be fine.

My theory on flying is that if we were intended to fly then why do we not have wings?

like going on a cruise, where are my flippers?
