My theory on flying is that if we were intended to fly then why do we not have wings?

Unless you either control or trust every other motorist, everybody who maintains every vehicle, all the people controlling traffic... I still think your theory needs work.

No Annie, Ryanair are a nightmare to fly with.............

We have flown with Easyjet many, many times and not had any major problems, just so long as you are guided by the rules as laid down by most airlines.
