Gazza, more clarification re Brands & Google Shopping please.

Just searched on Google again this morning. Searched for ten of my items. Two showed up as available only on eBid India while the other eight returned as auction ended weeks ago. There seems to be something strange going on!!

Its all a pain in the behind.. seriously good visibility in google shopping was always Ebids strong point.. without that how can they compete

Gazza, What is happening with the google uploads? Many sellers are not getting stores exempted nor are items being uploaded. On another forum http://www.ebid.net/forums/showthrea...pping-any-more one seller got the following back from google:

Same here Jan,
message from google shopping ...

"Hello,

Thank you for your email requesting an exemption for unique product
identifiers. We've reviewed your account and see that there are no items
or active data feeds uploaded onto your account.

Please reply to this email once you've uploaded items to your account and
we'll be happy to review your products for exemption. "

So there appears to be a serious problem. Please let us know how to remedy this problem. Thanks.

Hi Gothicina, Thanks for taking the time to check on some of my items, really appreciate it. It's good to know my items are still on view somewhere. You've highlighted another problem though which I hadn't noticed. I followed all the links you posted and all were fine until I got to the final link. Hundreds of items on that link and supposedly in my shop don't belong to me and I've never seen these before. Seems to be a mixture of my books and someone else's. Strange. Checked my actual shop and there's no sign of the other sellers books.

From what i can make out the whole thing is one huge mess, I had issues before this happened every time i put my shop into holiday settings and then put it back up my feed did not get reactivated to google , and i see from other peeps that their feeds dont show up wither on google so they aren't able to to be exempted. I applied almost 2 weeks ago now and have heard nothing about exemption. Contacted Ebid support and they just say give it another 72hours But i dont even know if the exemption form ever got through as I never received any e.mail confirmation. Just the message at the end that says you will be contacted within 3 days..lol seriously im going into week 3 and not selling anything. Nothing like making everyone's job 10 times worse Way To Go Google Shopping and for what? Why did they do it in the first place cos its just made things 10 times harder for everyone Rant Over...lol

They stopped submitting over a month ago

Obviously google doesn't have the problem as all listings from etsy, bonanza, ruby lane, feebay, ecrater, ola, blujay, etc are still showing - even crossed listed items , prohibited items that violate google TOS and items without UPIs are there from these other venues
