Applied for exemption for two of my stores (Postcard Corner & Graceland Gates) and received two emails confirming their success. Now, after noticing I haven't had a sale for two weeks, I notice there's no mention of their exemption beside the GSID numbers ...

Did you use the Email address as below so that eBid is informed by Google of the store exemption.

I also used my own name and sucessfully had 5 stores exempted. Applied on Monday this week, and approved on Tuesday.

Yes, I followed through every step on the given instructions but it got me nowhere. I'm going to have another go later today but unsure what to enter at stage 3 where it asks for my name as it didn't work last time. Reckon I'll try doing it on one shop only and see what happens.

Who were the emails from. Google, or Ebid ?

If they are from Google then you may have added your own email address to the application form instead of eBids.

Thanks MPS. I've re-applied for all the stores but this time took my time and made sure, as you advised, that I entered the correct email address. Will wait and see what happens now.

Still haven't a clue whether any of my shops are exempt since applying yesterday morning. Anyone know how long it takes? I'm guessing I just have to keep checking the GSID number on each shop to see if says it's been exempted?

Most of my stores came through today. All but the bookstore. I applied a few days ago.

I also indicated on 'website suggestion' that adding a field for ISBN numbers would be most helpful.

GAZZA. Just a suggestion. If, like myself, there are lots of sellers beavering away adding barcode numbers to their items, can you make it easier on us? Perhaps add an option to the bulk edit pages. Possibly searching by title and a box for the seller to add the barcode. I know this wouldn't suit everyone but it would certainly save many sellers a lot of time as having to search for each item and change them individually is VERY time consuming. Having a list of ALL our items in front of us with a box to enter the barcodes would be wonderful.
