Printing invoices

Is there a way of printing out an invoice without sending it to the buyer first?

I have had a number of people pay straight away but in order to get their full details I have to send them an invoice. I know I can go to contacts and get information there, but the invoice has everything on it I need and I like to include it when sending out the item.

To me, sending the invoice after a person has paid, is almost like asking for the money again.

Once the invoice has been sent to the buyer, you can print out the invoice as many times as you like.

Any tips?

Sounds like another option, "Do not send to buyer" we can show if an item has already been marked as paid.??

When a buyer pays me before I send an invoice, I always send the invoice anyway with a note stating: invoice is for our records only and payment has been remitted and cleared via Paypal or Google Checkout.
