Do you think eBid should remove the eBay comparison?

Not true - ebid is top rated, if you read the summary this is what it says...

I think all the posts/theories about why eBid is not now in the top ten or whether TopTenReviews has any credibility miss the point.

If a person thinking of joining eBid sees the text at the top of eBids pages implying that they are rate second then click through to TopTenReviews their first thought is going to be that eBid has mislead them (or worst still lied). Will they then still think of joining eBid.

It didnt bother me. In fact I was impressed that ebid offers itself as an alternative to ebay. That is what I was desperately searching for. I would be impressed even more if ebid had their attorneys give toptenreviews a call to find out what shenannigans they are trying to pull with the auctions review.

When you click on it, all looks good (tho I think support is better here by far). When you click on eBid in the pic, you are taken to the top 10 site. Ebid doesn't show at all in the top 13. If you look on the L column, you see DISCONTINUED.....click that, and there is eBid. I didn't know we were discontinued...........sigh.

My opinion is that yes the comparison should be removed. Unless eBid is trying to be a clone of eBay there is no reason to compare the two.

Don't think that would ever happen. Gheesh, ebid won't even add a bid column.

But I agree it should be removed, although as I have stated before, polls don't seem to make any difference to the ebid owners. So I don't really know what all the fuss is about.
