Yes, indeed there are. I cannot imagine any amount of alcohol I could get my hands on would make me think of doing this. You have to be messed up in the first place imo.

I wont look at the link - I couldnt guarantee being with ebid much longer if I gave my thoughts on such things, and what I would do to folks that mis-treat animals.

Heck I had to stop watching Lady and the Tramp when they were in the dog pound during the film! and that was only about 5 years ago.

You were both very wise - I rarely look at such links (see and hear enough). I wouldn't if I were you. But there does appear to be a lot of support and he will more than likely recover and with love and care he'll make somebody a wonderful companion. It never ceases to amaze me how brilliantly they do seem to put it to the back of their minds when all the trauma is over.

It is an accepted fact that those who abuse animals are very likely to go on to abuse people if they get half a chance. I saw the picture on facebook but I couldn't read the story. I don't need to know any more about how vile some people can be.

My personal experience of this sort of thing is limited but I know that I respond rather forcefully (not as forcefully as magnets but I'm not a big bloke).

Just remember - if you think something bad is happening near you, it probably is so report it. Better to be wrong than to ignore a bad situation.

Just saw this and it's really upset me! I hate cruelty in any form and this is beyond the pale. That poor wee dog's suffering is unimaginable.
