how much would it be on ITV for 30 seconds at peak time?
would it be £100,000 or what?
But some Advertising is required i think.
    cheers Tony

Yeo Valley made a two minute advert and put it out during Xfactor. Total cost roughly £5M.

Along the lines of being mentioned in the press...Anyone here ever heard of Michael O' Leary? He is the chief of Ryanair and every time he opens his mouth (good or bad) he puts butts in the seats of his aircraft. Maybe eBid management could come up with something controversial like putting pay as you go toilets on every webpage! Yes I know that's ridiculous but O' Leary said that about his planes and got weeks of free advertising. Controversial stuff always goes viral....just a thought.

He was already a major player, which is why his words were news.

Yes he was but it's thinking outside the box is where the success is. 5m for a small TV add would be a complete waste. You'd need constant bombardment to make sure your add got the message through. You'd get more exposure by advertising on a Youtube viral video. Create a competition to find a whacky video that you can stick eBid advertising around and hope it goes global. "Charlie bit my finger" has 383,893,985 views at present and is top of the engine. It' just 2 kids being funny, that's all. If you sponsored some videos like that it might cost a few hundred in cash but the video would be out there forever. A TV add is over almost straight away.
