I Feel Absolutly Great...but.

since my hurried visit to the hospital a couple of weeks ago,,,I have had another visit up to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and a visit to our local hospital in Galashiels...and a telephone conversation ( doc ),,,and I still feel Great....now I have 3 more hospital visits booked , the third being the result of a phone call this morning which means a 3 day stay at the end of this month..1 app; with my local GP. and I stll feel great... but the main reason for this post is just to say how good the NHS is...well to me....once they get you they will not let go....over the years , I think I know all the staff on first name terms......so that book I received will be there with me , so I might a couple of pages read...........did I mention .....I feel great......papa.

It's great that you are feeling great papa.
Now if the NHS could pay the same attention for all the sick and the dying as they do for those who feel great, that would make it an all-rounder great! (Just had an awful experience a couple of weeks ago).

Hi Cheaver , yes , I suppose you are right , there are some horror stories out ther re the NHS...but then as we also hear ther are some good reports also..sorry your experiance was not so good....maybe ? if you have to return , things will be better , I hope so.............papa.

This is why I get fed up and ratty, as when you say you feel okay / great they start looking for something else to make sure you don't feel that way for long.

it is great that you are feeling great that must be a great relief to feel great, because to feel great is a great feeling and so on, an so on, By the way I feel great also after my Appointment at the hospital on Wednesday.

I must Agree with you about the NHS, they have done a superb job on my diagnosis and subsequent treatment, the Neurologist was top class, the nursing staff were excellent both at Q A Portsmouth and Southampton Hospital, The catering staff could do with taking cooking lessons but hey I was tube fed anyway for 3 weeks so didn't really bother me but The Doctors and Nursing staff at both hospitals saved my life and the Neurologist was spot on with his diagnosis of a rare autoimmune disease, I certainly can,t fault the care and treatment both while in hospital and also with the care package at home now.
