Clearing some of the garden this morning, I came across a medium sized frog. I tried to shepherd it out of my way, and to somewhere safe, with my hand-brush - and it actually screamed. Weird!

I would screm if i spent ages building a home an someone swept it away.

Apparently it's quite common (though I've never heard it and I've got a pond full of frogs in my garden)

I once flymoed a frog .... by accident i hasten to add.. it was hiding under a bush in the corner but hed not gone far enough under for when i shoved the flymo under to cut the straggly straying grass.

It was nasty and messy ... didnt hear the frog scream but other half and the kids heard me scream

Oh my , how I remember those ' screams' . I had a huge pond that was stacked with Frogs, Toads and Newts... My cat used to make it his daily mission to try and ' capture' at least 1 daily . The only thing thing that gave him away was that scream. Nothing worked to stop him , endless time's I pushed him in ( shallow end) . Sadly , I had to leave all this behind when I ' downsized'... But , I will never forget it.

Oh wow, that is odd. I've heard plenty of croaks and peeps in my time but never a scream, I didn't know frogs were capable of that.

I really do learn something new every day.

Reminds me of when I accidently strimmed the back legs off one, it didn't jump fast enough <cringe>. I think we were both too shocked to scream !
