I use all caps and mine have uploaded to Google just fine, though I expect everyone's experience is different. I use all caps as it's easier for this badly nearsighted lady to read.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

Well, a few days have passed. Views have improved very slightly but still not a sale in sight! I realise things are probably slow everywhere but this is a few weeks before Christmas Feeling rather disheartened Im teetering on the edge of choosing lifetime seller+ but Ive lost the promo rate and frankly Ive lost the mojo to sell here Can I buy something from myself?! Just a thought!! Does feebay get all the buyers because they are so notoriously harsh to their sellers, thereby making it a buyers market? Do buyers feel safer with that sort of arrangement even though sellers are buyers too? Just thinking out loud Ive spent days listing and re-listing in order to improve.

Also, apparently Google doesnt like all capitals for titles and Ive been doing that. Ive seen a difference in the views just by changing that small detail. My aim was to sell enough (ouch!) in the first two weeks to pay for lifetime seller! Im running out of time fast but I will have to see what happens Thanks to those who have taken time to help, it means a lot. Ive succumbed to listing on the other side when I was determined not to. But hopefully ebid will take over from it. Just trying hard to persuade myself to push the boat out and buy lifetime!
Have a good think before buying lifetime, i bought lifetime and am now wishing i hadn't bothered i have listed 50 times now most items have been re-listed so about 20 different items and i have not had 1 bid, where the same items have been listed on another auction site with same pictures and same price and i have sold approx 18 items. I'm not giving up but whish i had took out a package for a couple of weeks first before i paid for lifetime.

I think giving it a fair test is excellent advice, too many people jump in and then complain when it doesn't suit them. There are so many variations on the package available to try, there's no excuse for not doing one's homework before committing. Particularly since any payments made before lifetime are knocked off the bill, and the special deal can be applied from *any* upgrade, so nothing need be missed in terms of bargains.

shadda, you haven't missed the promotion. When you upgrade to say lifetime monthly for £6.99 you are offered the £50 reduced fee for 24 hours. If you don't take it then you have to upgrade further for it to become available again ie to the lifetime 6 month subscription, and then you will once again have the option of taking up the reduced lifetime+ fee of £50, minus anything you have already paid, for 24 hours. So say you have paid for 1 month at £6.99 and then you upgrade to the 6 month deal at £14.99 or whatever it is you only pay £50 minus the £6.99 and £14.99 already paid. I hope this makes sense.

Upgrade again and you will have the offer available to you for 24 hours. Wait until you're ready to take that leap and you might have nothing to pay!

monies paid towards seller+ via weekly/monthly subscriptions count towards the total lifetime amount and as long as you're active it counts towards the 47 pound/special fee
yes it does. Or at least it did when I joined.

I agree that newbie sellers need to give the site a fair go..
It takes time to start all over again on another site, get the buyers trust.
They also need to find ways of promoting their items.

From what I have read on the discussion boards over there, sales are not that great for some sellers.
At least here they will not be paying through the nose for the privilege of having no sales..

What a seller sells needs to consider is would their items sell here, or would a specialist site be more suitable?
This site may not suit everyone, but it suits me, I have more than made back the lifetime membership fee.
Though I have put a lot of effort into promoting my items wherever I can.

I also kept listing while no sales were forthcoming so potentential buyers could see I was not a hit & run seller.

One thing to watch out for with recurring subscriptions (unless it has changed) is that you do not automatically get upgraded if you pay enough recurring short term subscriptions to cover the cost of the Lifetime one. So if you let the short subscriptions continue, they will for as long as you allow - even if that means you pay more than the cost of the Lifetime one.

Yes, quite right astral. OP, upgrade once you've paid enough into the kitty to get lifetime free, or whenever you are ready before then.
