I'm not sure why a video worth £200 plus would refuse to sell because of the cost of postage? You might mean less unusual than I do.

That's not true in my experience. I have sold ABFab videos to people in America and they didn't seem to have a problem paying £5+ for shipping.

Re: Does anyone still use or buy VHS
I still buy videos if the title is one that I want to buy, haven't already got in my collection or its one that I did have, still want to have but have had to loose due to change in circumstances.

Re: Does anyone still use or buy VHS
depends, I have had a few, mainly films like Mishima A Life In Four Chapters, and the Babycart films and things like that, which have sold, but these are rare films with cult followings. In general I dont think many people bother with VHS tapes any more

Re: Does anyone still use or buy VHS
I still watch VHS when I'm on the treadmill as we don't have DVD in that room. I can buy the tapes at the thrift store for 50¢ a piece. I've still got a lot of tapes to watch.

[QUOTE=plantsfish;1402117]I have around 100 VHS tapes. Should I even bother to list them? Does anyone still use and buy VHS?
If you get just anything used it will collect dust and take up room. I have found if the VHS is still sealed and unopened it will sell because it is one of a kind still new.

Re: Does anyone still use or buy VHS
VHS Tapes is just like books this day’s for selling online, just get away from that stuff and not bothered too much…and anyway only on other auction site sellers who has thousand and thousand DVDs can sell monthly about 500 or much more per month but VHS tapes not anymore carry even this sellers and I think nobody can sell in any auction site anymore higher number of VHS tapes per year because technology go up very much and rare stuff can be find on You Tube from various stuff and download and copy this on DVD disc for free put on your DVD player and watch simple as that without paying for tape or for higher shipping…every day someone post rare stuff which can’t be find it on DVD release and every day peoples copy and pull out this stuff of course if is interested on this particular theme which is on VHS tape recorded only…In the end life’s go on and some people don’t understand some stuff which already has better competition and can be find it in easy way still ‘’waiting’’ and losing the money and personal time to even list this anymore and like I say just get away from the books and VHS tapes….
Well...is just my opinion and anyone can try to make ‘’own miracle’’…but reality is reality…

You are using a lot of words to say that.
Books, VHS Tapes, Vinyl Records, Older High Quality Audio Equipment, etc etc are not a mass market item.
There is always somebody looking for a specialised item, and prepared to pay the postage costs.
Ebid is the ideal venue to list this type of item particularly if you are a Seller + Lifetime account holder.
