Thread: Has anyone tried Google Plus yet?

  1. #1

Question Has anyone tried Google Plus yet?

Just wondering if anyone has tried Google Plus yet?  It's hard work trying to get noticed on the other social networking sites so one more can't do any harm.  How does it compare to Facebook, Twitter?

Ok, I didn't get any replies to this thread so I went and signed up yesterday. It's very different to Facebook and I'm trying to learn the ins and outs at the moment. Anyone else take the plunge yet?

I can't see the point of being on two Social Networks, especially when most of your freinds will already be on Facebook.

To be honest, I can't either but I reckon I can get some more publicity from it as Google may push my page up the search rankings. Just a theory, I have nothing to back that up. It's free and it can't hurt so I thought I'd at least give it a try.

I'm already on it and it's just another social networking tool tbh.
Hasn't made any difference to me whatsoever.
Integrating store into facebook in due course which should be far more productive.

    p.s.
Besides Facebook and Twitter the only other social networking site that has produced results has been MySpace.

For personal social-networking, I like my current setup of livejournal, and facebook for keeping in touch with those friends not on livejournal.

I did look at Google+ as a possiblity for the theatre group, but since you can only join personally (a person name not a group name) it was of no use. I did think it appeared rather user-unfriendly to be honest.

I'd never even heard of it. Hope it works well for those who are using it.

Best wishes for many sales to all,
