POLL: Should mums to be have to buy their babies a ticket to the Olympic Games?

Mums to be, have been told their babies will be banned from the Olympic Games unless they have their own ticket. Even those that weren't conceived when the tickets were bought must have their own seat. What do you think?

I wouldnt allow babies under 3 into any event

At most of these events you are there for several hours.

I wouldnt be happy if I paid out a load of dosh, and turned up to watch an event and found myself sat next to a screaming bairn.

Making folks pay for the seat may act as a deterrant with a bit of luck.

Totally agree. Not just for the reasons you cite (which are valid), but for the simple fact such a place is not suitable for very young children.

Of course, many parents nowadays don't care about their children's well-being as long as they are enjoying themselves.

3 is to young for me, attention span is very short up to age 9ish-10ish. I would raise it to 10yrs and older.

I agree there are many places that young children should not be taken to. The kids need to be at home in their beds instead of tired at some of these events, in my opinion.

And, I don't want to listen to tired and screaming children ... I agree there as well.

I agree with everyone posting who said that young children shouldn't be there at all.

It's bad enough having to put up with bored children in restaurants...let alone huge events such as this one.

im not going either so fill the place up with kids so i get some peace in the park.

Let them in free and ones that yell the loudest get free ice cream.
