Has Something Changed w/PayPal Gift Monies to eBid?

I received payment for three of my YDC auction listings via PayPal. The buyer used 'gift monies' option at PayPal. The payment is there just fine, and is showing up in my AAL. Here's the problem:

The radio button "P" is showing up half-red/half-green, which I always assumed had to do with receiving monies via Google Checkout; i.e., once you log in to GoogleCheckout and verify the payment then the radio button turns all green. But this is NOT a Google payment, is is PayPal. I have used the AAL option of "Mark Payment as Received" on all three auctions, but nothing has changed.

Has there been a recent change here at eBid, or can this be classified as a "glitch" ... all comments appreciated!

iv got the same problem but with a payment sent to me, i forgot put my new email on ebid, as its been so long since i joined ebid,

When I gift through Paypal I go to the AAL and mark that I have paid. The button changes to half red and green.

I don't see how it can be done any other way as Paypal aren't to know that the payment is for something bought on eBid as the payment is sent to an email address..

So far as I can tell this has always happened with gift payments I have sent.

edited to add I was sent two gift payments and when I acknowledged the payment the button changed to all green.

That's correct with 'gift' payments - the recipient has to acknowledge that 'payment' has been received in the AAL.

That's right but I think the problem the OP was having was that they tried to mark as received but the button stayed half red and green.

I've gone in and marked all three listings as "Payment Received" and still nothing...afraid there must be some kind of glitch going on...

Hi Mary, as Moonwitch correctly states ...

.... this is what should happen, your button turns all green. It's the same as if you had received a cheque or postal payment , the button is red until you mark as 'payment received' then it changes to all green.
If it doesn't ... then maybe you do have a problem, and should contact support.

There was some glitch as far as I was concerned today. Went to pay for YDC winnings and noted as pmt sent, but was given an invoice page instead of the ability to mark as pmt sent. This happened on only one person's items............the others worked fine. So I reported it to support. Don't know what will happen with it. I had tried several times, and got the same result. Maybe there were some wires crossed somewhere....or solar flares.
