A favorite in Colorado, in the little mountain town of Nederland, is Frozen Dead Guy Days..............or, Grandpa's Still in the Tuff Shed. Google it...crazy people live there in the rarified air. Well, some of them are alive.................

One of my favourite events in Blackpool is the world firework championships, held each September. 3 or 4 different international teams each stage a display from the North Pier. It was won by an Italian team a few years back who had miniature Italian flags fluttering down from the fireworks!

One thing about living in a large, metropolitan city, is that there is always plenty to do.

Milwaukee is known as the City of Festivals. The biggest is Summerfest which is an 8 or 10 day musical extravaganza! People come from all over the world. There's all types of music. The stages range from really large to little street type venus.

In between that there is Polish Fest, Irish Fest, Italian Fest, Indian Fest, Gay Pride Fest and probably several more I can't think of.

And, while that is all going on we have State Fair and all of the Lakefront Art Festivals.

With all of that, though, I think that Patriot has the right idea! Thanks for sharing the video, it was a really nice way to start the morning.
