I might have a go at mixing myself before i get a machine, then learning how to set the oven to come on at x time so it is fresh in the morning , then if I find I cant cope that way, will look into buying a machine i think

And Salomina lol that is so unfair putting that piccy up, they look scrumptious

I bought a bread maker some months ago and although it took me a few tries to get it right I love the final results

Unfortunately I loved the bread too much and the doctor has now put me on a diet. (Maybe not all the bread makers fault )
My posts only state my own opinions, unless I've stolen them from someone else

I've got a DeLonguie (not sure if I've spelt that right and I'm too lazy to go to the kitchen ) ) - I use mine on a regular basis. With mine, I just add tepid water, flour, sugar, yeast, and salt as per the given or preferred recipe given in the user hand book. Press the buttons for weight and crust then make a note of how long it's going to take, and disappear for that length of time. The handbook comes with a small selection of recipes to start you off, which as I've found a decent loaf in that that works for everyday, I stick to that one. Hope that helps

I use mine a lot...probably too much! But I never bake the bread in mine. I jut use the machine to do the kneading/mixing then I put in loaf pans and bake in the oven. Hands are just too crippled up with arthritis to do the hand kneading anymore.

I use mine regularly. Set it at night and wake in the morning to the finished result. Can be a bread mix if I am in a hurry or lazy, or follow a recipe, but wouldn't want to be without

I have the Panasonic breadmaker and wouldn't be without it

Have never been able to knead bread and certainly not now due to the arthritis in my wrists.

Hubby uses it to make the dough for Ciabatta - absolutely delish - and I love the fruit bread.......

    anyone

Or are they one of these must have, use once then shove in the cupboard for ever
Just make sure you get one with a bid column

A bread maker isnt a real bread maker without a bid column.

    Or am I getting confused?
I will put it down to ''getting old;';'
