After Auction Log (AAL) options

Hello! Just a thought ... as a seller, I may wish to communicate with the buyer after the auction has ended, but at present, the nearest to a relevant option is 'Ask 'buyer' a question' which is not entirely appropriate. I may need to communicate something to the buyer which is not a question. For example, I may wish to comment on the fact that he/she has bids on other auctions and to let them know I won't send an invoice until all their current auctions are ended. Would the option 'Send message to buyer' be a more versatile wording? Alternatively, rather than amend the 'Ask a question' option, simply add 'Send message to buyer' as an additional option. Very true ... thanks for pointing that out. It's just that the whole (very useful) point of the AAL is to keep a neat record of all communications on one easily referenced page. For that reason, in practice, I think I will still use the 'Ask a question' option and put up with the slight anomaly. Thanks again for your speedy reply.

I admit to using that too rather than the email. And I just think of AAL and not of ask a question

Agreed, and likewise as a buyer I might wish to send the seller a message that doesn't need a reply. We've asked for this many times, but no harm in reminding them once in a while.

I add all that info when I acknowledge 'Payment received' in the AAL.

I have also asked for this in the past. It would be more appropriate to 'send' a message.

If I send an email to a buyer for any reason I add an entry under the 'note to self' section of AAL ..okay it takes a minute or two to add but reminds me what I have done!!!
