Lol hurry! More like turduckham - as son in law says he doesn't like turkey much, so there will be duck and honey roast ham alternatives!
(I'm not too fussed about turkey or chicken either, can just about manage a couple of slices of white breast meat - anything with skin, fat, veins or sinews and I'm gagging!!)

Trish, I made myself unavailable for Christmas.
Every time I asked my lads what their plans were for Christmas all I was getting was "not sure yet".
So, sensing that they all had other plans that for some reason they didn't want to tell me about, I decided to go solo on the day and got my Christmas dinner ingredients together.
I let each of them know what my plans were and not to worry if they have other plans.
It seems that 3 of 4 sons are going to be with my ex for the day, my other son will be with his partner's mum.
I have no problem with them being elsewhere, at least I don't have to be on my best behaviour at someone else's house

G'day all

I'm going to a friends place on the big day, & they say I have to be there early for the family grand present opening ceremony - you know, all shredded wrapping paper & strewn empty boxes etc.

I'm cooking & taking the roast pork (hopefully with great crackling this year)


Plus garlic prawns


I'll also be inheriting & picking up my mates display bottle & can collection from his bar, as they have to move in the new year & won't have space for same in the new place. I have already built shelving to house the collection behind my bar & will put pix up when it's all in place.

Naturally, I won't be in any condition to drive home so will overnight it Have a great time everybody & hope Santa's kind to you all - Cheers!

I Went to the bank and paid off my loan today!!! Yay, no debt!!!!!!! My bank balance looks smaller than before, but it's all mine.
