Hi everyone, sorry I've been AWOL so long but my Mom has been ill for some months and had major throat surgery recently, so I've been helping with her care and not really focused on much else these days.

Glad to hear you are ok Sooz, and I wish your mum a full and speedy recovery.

Well I am still alive but not quite kicking.

I won't bore you with the details of what's been up, it was a combination of health and family breakdowns.

I finally went out into the big wide world today, I've not been out since May 29th, my skin condition had a flare-up on my face and scalp which made me feel embarrased when out.

Thanks everyone. Hoping to have better news to report soon. Also hoping to get to NY one day soon, have reinstated my nursing license to work there, so I may just be able to leave NC after all, provided all family issues turn out OK.

Glad to hear everyone here is well or getting better. Pos, stay strong, easier said than done I know and an extra BIG HUG for you. I'll try to stop by more often.

Great to hear that the big guy is happy and well, and no doubt looking after you!

Sad news - we lost Kaiser on April 22nd. He put up a brave fight, but we had to let him go as his kidneys failed.
He was 10 and a half, which was a good age for a GSD his size.
Still mourn for him, we miss him dreadfully.
Reina has helped to fill the gap a bit, but she misses Kaiser too, and often goes and sits by his grave in our garden where we buried him.

The weather here has been absolutely dreadful lately, everywhere is flooded out with these stoopid torrential downpours.
Was hoping to have a barby this weekend, but it's no go.

How's things with you buttons? Seen/heard any good choons lately? Could do with something to cheer me up ...

I have been to busy linking my wounds Trish after going into hospital on Wednesday for a colon thingy, was nothing like the last one I had. apart from that I am having a row with BT as my conection is constantly dropping and I am trying to get my head round windows 10, not sure about this edge browser. don't really like any of it including the flat faced monitor and the speakers are crap.

Eww buttons, I don't like the thoughts of the colon thingy - sounds 'orrible. Hope you have recovered from that ordeal, and you get good results - fingers crossed for you.

I haven't bothered with windows 10, seems like a lot of trouble to me.
I must say I do have good speakers though and I love listening to music through them - better than the ordinary radio any day!
