Thanks for your kind wishes everyone and Posbear - I'm so pleased that your son is doing well.
Hopefully the coughing will abate soon, when the meds kick in.
One very fed up Trish here.....I keep getting very sore from the cannulas - so far 5 infections. The one that was in the elbow crease of my right arm had to be removed as it was causing me pain - it was all red and swollen and the doctor said it was phlebitis. They put another cannula in my left hand, just above the wrist and lo and behold - that too has gone all red and inflamed. That has also been removed and now I have one in my right arm just before the elbow bend. My arms are black, purple red and blue - very colourful! A nurse told me that she was wondering if I was allergic to the IV meds - only got to suffer them 'til Monday (all being well) so I'll hang on. Just hope that my blood pressure goes up as it's on the low side - doh! If they sent some dishy docs into this morbid ward (I call it God's waiting room!) mabe my blood pressure would raise enough to get me outta this place!
Cheavs, greenhouse dates are now a no-no .....
