    Good morning

    Happy hump day to you.

I've not been doing much in this hot weather,
I am trying to get organised for a future property move (don't know when yet) but I get overheated and can't do too much.
Looks like it will be a bit cooler today, hopefully will get some sorting and packing done.
I've still got the stock from my real-world shop (closed last May) as well as my collections and personal items.
I keep discovering things I had forgotten about and spending time looking at them instead of organising. Still, no rush just yet.

Tea and coffee are on the go.

Have a relaxing choon to start the day with..

Yes, that's Ritchie Blackmore from Deep Purple!

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.

    ARGGHHHHH!
I'm freaked out ..... I'm already spooked to death with visions of Al's Bee Hawk Moth .....
now.... just see what ran over the kitchen floor, a giant Tarantula!

I screamed so loud JR (who was using his foot spa in the living room) jumped up, knocked over his beer, and dashed into the kitchen to 'rescue' me. He thought it was a moth, but it was this hideous spider - so large .... OMG - I feel sick ....

It might be a large spider but definitely not a Tarantula. I once looked after the school's tarantula over the summer holidays and it was a lot bigger than this.

Yes Tony, I know it's not a Tarantula as per species ... a Tarantula is one helluva lot bigger and most certainly would not have fitted into that glass.
My son-in-law once had a pet Red Kneed Tarantula - a giant spider that I could hardly dare look at. It was so big you could not fit it into your palm. (runs away screaming)

I was merely being flippant about my spiders size!

It was so easy to remove the bandage as she is such a good girl and will let me move her around like I need to. I thought afterwards that Sampson would have had me chasing him all over the house to get it off. Onika also has some horse pill antibiotics to take and I have been hiding them in a ball of peanut butter - they're gone in a flash! She is such a good girl! Next Wednesday we have to go get the stitches out.

Friend Gary got rained out yesterday, so he decided to fix the combine, so he was in for some parts! Yay! I usually don't even get to see Gary this time of year because he and Cody are sooo busy farming. A real treat, an I only was missing one part that he needed.

Onika and I are making chicken stew in the crockpot today. Next best thing to cooking outdoors. BBQ isn't any fun when you are solitary. One of these days I may BBQ a goose.
Hey Wyo, I know what you mean with doggie behaviour.
Now Kaiser will allow just about anything - he is so placid and laid back. The grandchildren dress him up, snuggle up to him and even fall asleep on him - he simply adores the kiddies.
He shepherds them, and worries when they are gone, bless him.
Reina is much younger, and full of energy and fun - but she is proving to be a wonderful lady with regards to the children.
She is very protective, and lies next to the pushchair when I look after my Isla, and simply adores little Abigail and follows her everywhere.
Obviously, I am always there to watch, no matter how much you trust your mut.

Hope all goes well next Wed when Onika's stitches come out - and if you have any chicken stew leftovers, you know where to send them!
