Pos, me duck, we had an absolutely lovely Christmas day. We only had Lucia, Oli and Adriana for dinner, as the others are staggering visits. Tomorrow, Teag, Matt and grandkids are coming, then day after Dom and family. Poor Debbie is still isolating, as all her family are covid positive. I have just spent an hour ordering enough food/drinks for everyone for my delivery tomorrow.
Haa-haa- that Nativity play made me laugh, it was almost like going to see a panto! Thanks for sharing.

Glad to see the bar is open, but I don't see many folks sitting there - I think we need some entertainment to drag the punters in!
It was mentioned quite some time ago that me and cheavs would put on a show !

Hi everyone, it's so great to see our very own Posbear back in the lounge, loved the Home Free and Southern Raised tracks, not heard of either band before so will keep an eye out for more stuff from them.

Hi everyone, the last week has been manic - I'm fed up with cooking, shopping, providing meals/buffet spreads for everyone, at the same time trying to get all my melt orders out. I posted the last lot today - if anymore come in they can jolly well wait.
I'm hanging up my apron, and have shoved my melting pot and wax out of sight - YAY!!

I'm so worn out and with Covid so rife, we are not going anywhere to celebrate - just me and the old man chilling out together. We have so much booze here, for some reason everyone buys us plonk! (Not complaining though!)
We shall stay up to see the new year in and do the auld lang syne together. Then ole JR will perform his ritual .... he goes out the back door, knocks at the front door, I let him in. He carries a piece of coal and some bread.
My mum and dad did this when we were all little - we were told that we would never be cold or hungry, and the tradition is performed every year.

For years, since a car accident and making an income has been tight, I would do the
" Ancient Chinese Law of Abundance ". So far, I have always had enough money to pay all the bills and have a bit more. This year, there was more abundance and I am in a good mood that I have a great start for next year's bills. The only thing I miss is my cat Blue since his death. Hoping that there will be another Siamese Tiger cat that will come into my life.

1- Take a blank check
2 - Date with the current date ( the first time that you remember doing this in the new year)
3 - Make the check out to yourself (full legal name)
4 - Leave the dollar box and line blank
5 - In the memo area write " PAID IN FULL "
6 - Sign the check " LAW OF ABUNDANCE "
You will need to keep the check with you at all times in the New year (except when bathing and sleeping)

Most of the time I remember to do this on the January 1st but there has been time I will remember by January 7th.
