Lovely pictures Trish you look relaxed and cool even though you say it was hot, no problem about the saffron i do still have a little stash, will have to cut down on the amount i use as i do go over the top with it. I see James Bond got your full attention

Well I am still alive but not quite kicking.

I won't bore you with the details of what's been up, it was a combination of health and family breakdowns.

I finally went out into the big wide world today, I've not been out since May 29th, my skin condition had a flare-up on my face and scalp which made me feel embarrased when out.

But today I felt it was important to go and cast my vote, it was a painful walk to the polling station, half a mile up a steep hill with a gammy right knee.
The sun is out and it was very very hot, I can't cope with heat! No tropical paradises for me, I prefer cooler climates.
The pleasant part was walking through the woods at the bottom of the hill on the way back, shady and beautiful, then there was a short hill up to my little bungalow and a cup of tea!.

Look who I caught red-handed nibbling my nuts...

That looks like the one that came into our house to nick parrot food. I called her Schlitzohr, because of the bit of ear missing. And she hasn't been here this year. Could she really have gone so far away?

It was a bit cooler today, temp have been in the 80'sF mostly with a couple of days 90F. Cloudy this afternoon with a bit of rain, not much though. Went to the big city and got groceries. Stopped at Burger King for my supper. I was so hungry for hamburger and fries. I added a chocolate shake just for good measures which I am still trying to finish. In my younger days, I could have finished it all in a short time. Ah well.

Hi everyone, sorry I've been AWOL so long but my Mom has been ill for some months and had major throat surgery recently, so I've been helping with her care and not really focused on much else these days.

Winston says woof, he's still as fat and happy as ever.

Hope everyone is doing well, I'll try to pop in from time to time to say hi.
