My Mom was admitted to a nursing home and is doing better, many thanks to everyone for your prayers and well wishes.

I have recovered from the holiday - not too hard this time around. I spent the day watching Star Trek and ironing. So glad the ironing is done for awhile, maybe even the summer. All I iron is jeans and the top borders of my top sheets. I like the feel of the sheets up against my face when I crawl into bed.

Sues! Hope that is good news about your Mom. My Mom always liked to go to the nursing home, as long as she new she didn't have to stay. She stayed when she needed to go to physical therapy since we are so rural and there wasn't someone to take her 30+ miles everyday. She loved being able to visit with people and getting her hair done, etc.

My friend Edna called today - she maybe to visit me in about a month or so. She has some accounts to close here etc. Perhaps we'll get to meet for lunch or dinner! We talked for over an hour.
